Important Information for Travelers Visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu in July and August
If you are planning to visit Cusco and Machu Picchu during July or August, please be aware of the current entrance ticket availability.
At the moment, Circuit 1B (Upper Terrace) is fully booked until July 20, while the most requested routes, Circuit 2A and Circuit 2B, are sold out until October 28.
If you have already booked your trip but do not have a Machu Picchu entrance ticket, the best alternative is to arrive in Aguas Calientes
one day before your planned visit. You can then purchase an available ticket in person, subject to daily availability.
Please note that if you choose this option, you will not know your Machu Picchu entry time until you receive your ticket, so it is important to keep your itinerary flexible.
